Do all Rudrakshas have the same power...

bksureshv@gmail.com Are there any definitive tests...  Unfortunately, no. There are no definitive tests to test the authenticity of a Rudraksha except the discerning eye of an expert. When looking at the bead carefully, you'll find various deep dug lines separating the various faces of the Rudraksha bead. Ironically, humans have known to use their 'extreme skill' and try to 'carve' lines into the Rudraksha or 'wipe' them off, in order to change the faces or 'mukhis' of the bead... i.e. 'alter' it according to their demands. It is extremely difficult to tell a genuine and a spurious Rudraksha apart, but the discerning eye of an expert can spot these 'manual interventions' and declare whether or not the Rudraksha has been tampered with. But even within different Rudrakshas, there are some which are far more powerful than others. The criterion of selecting the right bead is not a simple one. Experts must examine each bead and find the right ones. Then each bead must be purified thru' ancient rituals and energised thru' rigorous Homa, which lasts for 41 days, before being securely packed. After purification, no human hands must touch the bead or it gets contaminated. Do all Rudrakshas have the same power... Again, no. What we must understand here is that the acquiring an authentic bead is extremely difficult. But what is more important is the understanding of how the Rudrakshas work. We repeat ourselves here, by saying that all beads from an original Rudraksha tree are not genuine and all don't have the same power. In fact only one bead in hundreds has the magic powers that can greatly influence your life.  Most of the beads bought from mere vendors and agents are just random selection from trees. They are just in the business of selling these beads and making money. Hence, whether the bead has the powers or not, doesn't matter to them because they have already made their money. That is the main reason why common vendors can afford to sell the beads for as less as $5!! And we all know that you get, what you pay for. If these beads would be even half as powerful at this minimal price, why aren't these vendors the the happiest and the wealthiest people on this planet.

			Even if the Rudraksha you own is genuine, and it was energised and purified when it reached your hand, it is entirely upto you as to how much and for how long you want to benefit from it. What has changed is the people who sell and wear them.  The sites rated highest by us, are the only ones, to the best of our knowledge, to have such a criterion of selecting only the 'blessed' Rudrakshas and energising them, thus making sure you get maximum benefit from them. 			How to get the maximum from my Rudraksha...
			Now that you have got a Rudraksha that is empowered, you must try and maintain its power and get the maximum benefit from it.  To reap maximum benefit from Rudrakshas, you must have total belief and faith in them, and treat them as holy and sacred objects of worship and not as mere beads and understand their sanctity. In the good old days, men had such immense power and the Rudraksha was used as a weapon against the enemy, to fulfill one's wishes, to achieve what we'd call impossible today!! All is possible if today's man too, can store that much energy inside his body and learn to use it to his advantage. Make sure that these Holy beads never get disrespected and try to follow all instructions and precautions for maximum benefit. Even  if the Rudraksha that you possess was original and genuine, if not blessed, purified and empowered, it would have already lost its power by the time it would have reached you.
